Operations of the Electrovac Group are structured in the three segments Curamik/Electrovac Power Cooling (EPC), Electrovac Hermetic Packages (EHP) and Electrovac Heat Control (EHC).
The main line of business of Curamik (Electrovac Power Cooling) is the production of Direct Bonded Copper (DBC) substrates, a carrier created by direct bonding of solid copper foil with electrically insulating ceramics; production is located at Eschenbach/Bavaria (Germany) and at Klosterneuburg (Austria).
At Salzweg near Passau (Germany) and at Klosterneuburg, the segment EHP produces hermetically sealable casings for durable microelectronic components. The micro system within the casing is connected to the outside via glass seals.
Electrovac Heat Control manufactures high-temperature switches for household appliances (Click Therm) and oxygen and moisture sensors at the Zuhai (PRC) and Klosterneuburg (A)locations.
